Kristen Dieterich, Director of Lower and Middle School Admissions
Kristen's career in admissions began in college when she worked in the Admissions Office at Regis University and quickly discovered a love for helping students and families. Upon graduation, she worked as an Admissions Counselor at Regis and then moved to Bishop Machebeuf High School as the Admissions Director. She is thrilled to be part of the SMA community and is constantly inspired by the ways SMA students, faculty, staff, and families live out the Loretto School Values. Kristen volunteers as a Regis Alumni Mentor, donates to Christmas clothing drives, and works at the annual Fr. Woody's Wrap Party for the homeless. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys hiking, crafting, and traveling - she and her husband are trying to make it to all 50 states!

Tonight! Ninth Grade Back to School Night
Seniors participated in The Alpine Hike, a tradition for well over a decade during the annual HS retreat at Snow Mountain Ranch. In recent years, it has become something of a rite of passage for seniors. The trek begins early in the morning at Berthoud Pass, and climbs far above treeline into the rock, tundra, and often the clouds of Colorado's vast Alpine landscape. High School faculty member Andrew Beckham has offered the hike for years, with help from other intrepid faculty, who this year included Nina McCaskill and Dave Gessler.
Congratulations to Dave Gesler who was was the principal designer/engineer on the original development of the NMASS aerosol instrument used in this study. Learn more>
