Kathleen Hogan, Director of Marketing and Communications
With a BS in business administration from Bucknell University, Kathleen spent many years in consumer products sales and marketing, working for Pepsi-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Cadbury-Schweppes, and James River Corp. After taking a break to raise her children, she restarted her career in education at Wichita Collegiate School. After moving to Denver, Kathleen began working in the Lower School at St. Mary's Academy. She transitioned to the Advancement Office where she is now the Director of Marketing and Communications. Kathleen is thrilled to have the opportunity to touch all areas of St. Mary's Academy and to sing its praises to the greater community.
Kathleen grew up in Connecticut and lived in Chicago, Atlanta, Virginia, and Kansas before coming to Colorado. She loves to hike, bike, and ski and feels very lucky to have landed in Denver - the perfect place to enjoy all of these activities.

Middle School Featured Athletes: Zac Zabel and Ellie Halpern
Sixth grader Zac played almost every position in soccer this season for the Wildcats. His tenacity and skill made him one of the most reliable players in practices and games. Not afraid to play defense or run the whole field as a midfielder, Zac contributed in many areas to the team's success.
Ellie is an integral part of the sixth grade lacrosse team. On the very first day, Ellie enthusiastically stepped up and volunteered to be a goalies. While it is rarely fun to be consistently bombarded with shots by the opposition, Ellie is intense and focused in the crease. She is also a major force in the midfield and played a significant role on the attack. Ellie is a determined competitor and a vocal supporter of her teammates.
